Black Sea Security Forum 2026

Representatives from ICMED recently attended the Black Sea Security Forum 2026, held from May 28 to 31 in Odesa, Ukraine, to address the region's critical role within Europe’s broader security architecture. The high-level conference brought together government officials, military personnel, diplomats, and global experts from Ukraine, Europe, and the United States to discuss deepening alliances through enhanced intelligence-sharing and cooperation between Baltic and Black Sea nations. Highlighting the Black Sea as a central pillar of global trade and European stability rather than a peripheral issue, the insights gathered from the four-day forum are expected to directly shape upcoming European defense initiatives and humanitarian logistics frameworks in the months ahead.
